WRC PGM Project

The WRC PGM Project represents ‘brown-fields’ exploration of known mineralisation supported by over 20,000m of historical drilling.

The project is focused on Parks Reef which consists a zone of identified PGM-Au mineralisation extending over a 15km long strike and on average 15m wide.  The deepest hole drilled to date intersected the reef at 253m vertical depth indicating the mineralisation is open at depth.

Podium has designed drilling programs with the objective of defining near surface mineral resources extending into the primary mineralisation (sulphide zone).

Podium will target both high grade and bulk tonnage low grade PGM-Au suitable to develop a low cost open pit mining operation with future access to high grade PGM mineralisation at deeper levels by development of underground mining operations from the base of the open pit.  The near vertical orientation of the reef provides favourable geometry for both open pit and underground mining.

Potential also exists for parallel reefs both above and below Parks Reef containing PGM-Cr-Au ± Ni-Cu mineralisation.  This potential is supported by magnetic imagery and geochemistry which will be tested by further exploration drilling.
